Pumbaa 1b-“You’ll learn to love them!”/ The Lion King/ Original Production Art

$500.00
sold out

Original animation drawing of Pumbaa made in the production of Disney's The Lion King (1994) by Tony Bancroft.

Tony Bancroft was the Supervising Animator of the character Pumbaa in The Lion King. Bancroft’s first pass of animation is rough. This frame is from the “Hakuna Matata” song sequence, where, after Timon and Pumbaa have been singing about their carefree lifestyle, they talk about how they eat bugs, too. Pumbaa gets into Simba’s face and tells him, “You’ll learn to love them!” This art is from that scene. I have the Simba level as well, if you would like that included. Rough animation drawings from this feature are very rare.

This art is signed by Tony Bancroft. Condition is very good, and the size is 12 1/2’ X 17”.

Shipping and handling are added at checkout. Shipping within the US only.
